This year’s theme was set to be “Know your neighbor” and what a better way to honor that then to share your creativity forged in Woodlake’s art room with your neighbors!
Arts and technology are cornerstones of our schools charter and we have done an amazing job keeping those parts of our curiculm thriving during our distance learning.
Our wonderful art instructor Sharon Oren, her amazing art aide Miss KiKi and Ms. Niaz have sorted art for student pick up but we have a surprize for you! To celebrate our arts community at Woodlake and in conjunction with Woodlake’s Got Talent there will be a few ways to celebrate our visual arts.
- 1st the Drive by art gallery: Art will be displayed on boards on the exterior fence of Woodlake for you and your family to drive by and enjoy Saturday and Sunday June 6th through the 7th.
- 2nd many of you have been busy creating art at home and we want to celebrate that too. If you have emailed art to Mrs. Oren we will include that for a limited time slide show on our school website, if you have art you would like included please email them to communicationswoodlakeelem@gmail.com by June 4th
- 3rd If you and your family are feeling really creative you could post your own art gallery or create recycled art for your yard and share a photo of that to be included in the slide show by June 4th

Our previous "NIGHT OF THE ARTS" (NOTA) are in the evening with all the arts curriculum at Woodlake
Families at this fantastic affair are dazzled with recycled art, grade level performances in music and dance, and framed art by the students in our own "gallery".
Art Committee and NOTA meetings are in the evening and announced on the Facebook group and the school emails.
