Our after school Woodlake garden program gives youth, in grades 3-5, the opportunity to participate and experience first-hand the work we do at our on-site garden.
This one-hour program every Thursday of the week includes the opportunity to learn and participate in seasonal garden activities, which may include planting, harvesting, weeding, watering, and composting. Our Horticulture Instructor and Garden Club Coordinator Ben Dickerson leads this weekly program. This is a free one hour after school program every Thursday and meets in the Garden area.
If you would like to enroll your student, download the contract and photo release paperwork located on our website under: Join / Grow with us. Return completed forms to school office Monday - Friday during normal business hours. Submission of garden agreement doesn't ensure admittance into garden program. Space is limited and applicants will be admitted as spots become available.
